Founded by William Doonan, Chenango Aikido welcomes anyone with a genuine interest in studying Aikido. Will Doonan has studied Aikido for more than 20 years at the Bond Street Dojo in New York, training with Paul Kang, Christine Jordan and Ken Nisson. He received his godan (5th degree black belt) from Mitsugi Saotome Shihan, founder and principal instructor of Aikido Schools of Ueshiba (ASU), to which Chenango Aikido belongs.
Chenango Aikido is located in Central New York in Norwich. Directions can be obtained by following the map link below. The dojo is inside the Chenango Council of Arts building on the 3rd floor, best reached from the Maple Street side entrance.

Visitors are welcome at any of these times. We request that visitors watch a class before participating in order to confirm their interest for themselves. Upon joining the dojo, membership fees are $40 per month, $20 for youths. In addition, there is an annual $45 fee paid to ASU
